This is the free version on a Win7 system. Whenever I update to the latest version released a couple of weeks ago, I cannot bring it up. No matter what I do, no matter what I click on, I cannot bring it up.

When I recover a system backup so I can bring the old version back up, I find that I can update the signatures on the old version so they are always up to date, and everything works just fine, I can bring it up, scan, everything. I just can't update to the latest version, well, I can, but then it does not work. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Acadia

    Hi,

    You can try this:

Download latest mbam version (1.51) from:
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free

Before installing the new version run the mbam clean tool, download from here:
malwarebytes.org/mbam-clean.exe (This link opens the download screen!)

Thanks for that 1PW, I did post it at MB and got an answer. It is a known issue that they are working on. It only affects systems that use a letter other than "C" as the Primary drive.

    Thanks again,
