This is a version of CAT's Quickheal.

    Not a great AV.

Your 20 bucks would be better spent purchasing Extendia AVK Pro at a place like C*mpUSA, in my opinion. :)

    Hello all,

Yes, I have heard of and tested QuickHeal/WinCleaner & wished that I hadn't. Here's a summary of some of the things that I didn't like about QH/WC:

    1) The number of virus "false postives' with QH heuristic processing enabled is staggering and completely unacceptable.

    2) AV scanning rate is poor.

    3) QH/WC currently has only weekly AV updates.

    4) When QH AV Active/Monotoring was turned on, my 1.6Ghz-based PC ran like a P-700.

For only ten dollars more that QH/WC, you can buy a really GOOD product like BitDefender V7 or for the same money AVK as mentioned previously in this thread.

    There's my $.02 worth,

This performance classifies this AV already in the category "rubbish"!
