I did not receive the usual quick response for my last post. As a matter of fact, no response.

Everyone helping here is human and they are all volunteers.
They may be under the impression you just come here for a fast fix and don't do any effort to protect yourself.
Just guessing. I'm no mind reader

    Hi Coyote Creek,

You have said you have not received a response in your last thread, but you've also stated in your last post there that you were able to do an on-line scan with Trendmicro.
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=36451

Since you have not posted a new hijackthis log in that thread since doing the on-line scan, we have no idea of the status of your computer, so posting more instructions would be fruitless until we see a new hijackthis log.

You also have numerous other threads, some with no reply from you after doing the fix, and some where you have said everything is fine:

    Jun 9th
You have said everything is fine after performing the suggested fixes:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=35690 (solved)

    June 8th
This one Unzy posted a fix for you, but you never replied to it:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=35569 (no member reply)

    June 1st
Pieter posted fixes to this one, but you never replied to it:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=34547 (no member reply)

    Apri 24th
This was for your Mom's pc, and you replied that the fix Puff_m_d posted worked:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=29277 (solved)

    April 24th
This was for your laptop, and dvk01 posted a fix and you replied that you were not having anymore problems after doing the fix:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=29198 (solved)

    Apr 23rd,
This was for a WinME computer, and dvk01 posted a fix and your log was reported clean after you did the fix:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=29121 (solved)

The titles of the threads do not help in keeping them distinquishable from each other, and because you have not replied back in some of them whether the fix worked or not, but instead start new threads with yet more infections popping up, it becomes quite difficult to keep track of what is happening, what computer it is happening with, and what fixes have been suggested.

I will now adjust the titles on the threads where you have stated there were no more problems and the fixes worked, to read [solved].

To avoid more confusion, please stay with the current (last) thread until the computer that is being worked on there is clean, and do not start a new topic for the same problem with the same computer.

It would also be appreciated, that in the future, when you are posting a request for help with a hijackthis log, that you make your title a bit more desciptive, like putting in what the problem is, and also what computer it is that has the problem since you are posting help for multiple computers.

I will now lock this one and ask that you keep all replies to the most current thread: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=36451

    Thank you for your cooperation,

    Regards,

    snap
