Hardware Monitor Error

    Location:
    RUNCORN UK.
    I 'm now receiveing a ( Hardware Monitor Error.) CPU Temp is 76.5 flashing red.and the CPU fan is running at 3.500rpm.I also receive this error when the CPU temp is at 46 degrees.Any help would be appreciated.

    Some more info like what monitor and what board, if BIOS has been updated etc would help.

    I think the problem is something to do with the heatsink fan/ CPU fan.Added one gb of ram 1year ago.

    Problem solved,Replaced the Power Speed Fan.

    Always important to pay heed to the hardware monitor, luckily today's CPU would throttle back and shut down to prevent damage but I would rather be alerted.
