I really don't know why these high end GPU's have to be this expensive. Lucky for me I don't have to play games in the best settings, a lower resolution is fine with me.

4K on a 40 inch screen, at highest res. Addictive as hell...DON'T ever try it, just say no.

I prefer to play video-games on much smaller screens. I hated it that in the past you couldn't play certain games inside a window, they always needed to be fullscreen.

Exactly, and you don't even need the most powerful GPU's. Apparently, even the latest FIFA 19 is still playable on older hardware, but I haven't checked it out yet.

Because rich people want things that people with less money cannot afford to make themselves feel better. This is the separation between the rich and the middle/poor class. The cards are artificially inflated to cater towards the the rich kids who get hand outs from mom and or will open a credit card and max it out with no care in the world.

Don't mistaken my encouragement for personal preference, an arm length away from a 40 inch 4K screen is an immersive and great gaming experience.

My setup, 8700k and 1080ti will last for many years, a good future proof investment.
