Hacktool .rootkit

    every time i do a scan using my Norton corporate it shows i have a rootkit, but when ive tried to run Anti Rootkit software, it tells me the system is clean, not sure which i should believe. any ideas ??

    Hi,

    Maybe if you give a bit more informaiton, e.g. what message you are getting from Norton, and which anti-rootkit you are running. Different tools have different levels of sensitivity to different root kits. Have you tried running another online AV such as Panda's or Kaspersky's new online scan?:
