    I can think of a way to detect this, but it'll cost em $ ;) They can PM me :)

    Betting that every method of security, given time, money, and knowledge, has a way of being bypassed, is safe, lol. Outside of that, no, nothing is, lol.

    I haven't read the first thing about this attack, but I do know that there was a hack like this last year (it was discussed at the RSA conference during the cryptographer's panel). The cryptogropher who brought it up said it was not a flaw with quantum crypto itself (quantum crypto is unbreakable because of the laws of physics), but rather that the implementation was flawed. Implementation is everything with crypto systems, whether they be QC or classical. I suspect this attack is also a result of a flaw in the implementation. Either that or we have a monumental breakthrough in quantum electrodynamics (which I seriously doubt).
