So i wonder what AV vendors well plan for it. So far no AV is claiming to stress on this type of scanning. Am I true?

Antivirus vendors already cover Internet Relay Chat. They really have no choice other than to cover instant messaging malware as well.

Besides AVs, we already have tools at our disposal that can seriously reduce these threats. Topping that list is the firewall and taking control over who and where your IM programs can connect to. If you allow incoming connections from anywhere to your IM, you're vulnerable.
As for compromising the IM program itself, using a good HIPS to control what your IM can and can't do with regards to the rest of your system can offset a lot of this problem. Even if the user is deceived into clicking one of those malicious links, a good HIPS will prevent the install from happening.

Very true. We know this, the average user doesn't.

That's the sad part of the whole thing. No real way to reach the average user in time. The one company that could won't do it. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=134616
They could easily make the first page seen on every new PC a good security/advice page and save a lot of grief for untold numbers of people, but they wouldn't profit from it so it won't happen.
