GRSecurity - Are they on vacation or something?

It's been +2 weeks since the last release of GRSecurity patches, I'm beginning to worry. At first I assumed they're on vacation, but I couldn't find such info yet.

Does anyone have news about the grsec team?

 

That's why you should never patch your kernel outside your distro's main channel.
Why such a rush, it's not like anything big happens in 2 weeks on the kernel front.

I'm not worried about patching or the security of my system, I'm worried about the team itself. I haven't heard anything from them in this time.

True. But if they push 4.9, I'll be able to use the AMDGPU Kernel driver instead of the buggy Radeon driver.

Compiling 4.9.8.r201702071801-2 now. I did compile 4.9.8.r201702060653-1 yesterday but I was unable to boot.
