A malfunctioning program changed some settings on my win7 pro 64-bit system. I restored the C drive from a Macrium image but all my group policy settings are now set to not configured. I'm not sure when this change originally happened and maybe the image I used was too recent, but I'd like to manually reset the ones I had...if I can see what they were. Is there a way to see the group policy settings in a Macrium backup image? I know I can mount the image and use regedit to see the registry, but where would I find the group policy settings in the registry or somewhere else? Thanks for any help.
ellentk, I suggest you restore your oldest image, make a note of the settings and then restore the most recent image. Now you can deal with the settings.
