   Nice forum but I can't find the "upload avatar" button in the web interface....

   Clicking your username on the top right, and then Personal Details, should lead here:
   https://www.wilderssecurity.com/account/personal-details
   
   Then just click the image (in your case a question mark I believe) to upload an avatar.
