    I use & recommend HashTab.

HashTab is a 185K download freebie. It provides a Windows shell extension that adds a tab to the file properties page. If you right click any file & choose Properties, there is a new tab called "File Hashes" and it displays the MD5, SHA1, & CRC-32 hashes of the file's contents.

The tab also has a field where you can paste in the location or hash of any other file on your computer, and a comparison will automatically be made between the hashes of the two respective files. This is useful for when download sites display hashes of a file and you want to check the hash after you download.

It's a very handy little app.
