Anyone using this FF extension. Is this like giving them the keys to my front door I remember in the old days Grammatek, availabe @egghead brick & mortar stores
Pretty much like any other extension. It has to be able to access the website data to do what it does. If you don't allow it then it won't and can't work. We have people at work that use this and I'm not concerned about it. I believe they are trustworthy. If they did something stupid it would cost them their entire user base so there is that.

Thanks, didn't know about this tool, looks handy. But I much rather use it as an app that's running on Windows, instead of running inside the browser. But at the end it all comes down to trust, just like with any other extension.
BTW, on second thought, aren't they asking for way too many permissions? Click on privacy practices, why would they need to be monitoring all of this stuff? https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/grammarly-for-chrome/kbfnbcaeplbcioakkpcpgfkobkghlhen
