Hi there, GPT Loader works great with XP, but I recently installed a second operating system (Win 7) and it can't "see" my internal 3TB WD drive at all. Is this a bug? Is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

I'm new here, but I have employed dual boot sys w/W98 OSR2 (32 bit) and XP (NTFS) -- NTFS could see files in Win98 OSR-2 (32 Bit) OS but Win98 OSR-2 could not see or access the XP NTFS file system (directories & folders). In those days a 80 GB drive was considered HUGE but their were size limitations regarding LBA - Logical Block Addressing - Mode and partitioning the drives. Not very flexible (circa early & mid 90's) Are you using Windows XP in 32 bit mode, or (NTFS) or 64 bit mode (NTFS - more space efficient (disk geometry-wise) Disk space conservation and data access speeds are relevent to cluster size, and what version of Windows 7 are you using 32 bit or 64 bit mode? I believe what I mentioned above is relevant. NTFS files systems (Windows NT (NTFS) FAT 16, XP (NTFS FAT 32?) or XP 32 bit (as was old Windows 95a, 95b, etc. (FAT = File Allocation Table). I will try to paste in a URL that may shed some light on your difficulty. Do not feel put-off. You should see my very first post in this forum -- no one responded (i was relieved at that) because I asked a very REDUNDANT question - no one "threw rocks at me", though. No one knows everything. It is a very busy forum, I know that. Perhaps, by now you have resolved your problem but I will return and paste in a helpful website that may shed some light on your situation.

Here is a short list of websites which you may find somewhat informative with respect to your issues. As for GPT, there are specifics which need to be addresses regarding the setup of your OS's (Dual Boot). You need to make certain preparations and adhere to specific guidelines in setting up the Dual Boot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GUID_Partition_Table), and:
