Got VMware Workstation for Xmas - How to get started?

    So what features/benefits does VMware Workstation (which is rather expensive) offer that the free 'virtualwares' do not? o_O

    Hello.

    A few tips to the OP regarding VM performance -

    Use the fixed HDD/partition size (if your free space allows).

    If you have a real-time scanning app (like the resident AV i.e.), add your VM files/folders to AV exclusions.
