    As a boomer, I hang up on random calls. Just today I got a call from my bank to offer me some services and the first thing they asked me was to verify that it is me. I said No. They asked, if they should call later. I said No and hanged up.

    I would doubt that most "boomers" would have crypto but they probably all have bank accounts so there is that. I'm not one but I don't even answer my phone anymore if it is not someone on my contact list.

    I had a call from me to me one day according to caller id. Highly suspicious. Needless to say, I didn't answer.

    Weird. I know they like to spoof your local exchange but your own number? That said I bet a lot of people would still answer it.

    I did get a call from me once but I realized that what had happened was that my contact info had my work number and someone was calling me from work on a day off. I took the number out after that. Probably not what happened to you though.

    It was a bot spoofing a line of numbers. Robocaller most likely.
