    Just wanted to know , when Acronis TI Restore an Image, does the Targeted Partition gets "Formatted " first, before it starts to Restore the Image ??

    No, not "formatted" in the normal sense. However, the target partition is deleted and replaced by the same file system as the source partition used to create the image.
