Google's Chrome Web Store lists malicious Chrome apps ahead of legit extensions

    I installed uBlock Origin today on my father's computer and surely noticed an app with the same name listed before. Glad i noticed the difference in icon and the developer. And no it was not that other uBlock extension, but some app.

    I had the same experience yesterday. It looks like after all Google doesn't want legit adblockers to get installed.

    Yes, this is really ridiculous, shame on Google. Malicious extensions should be a thing of the past.

    Seems there store is a mess. They must clean it and check every app/ extension manually before approval and reject any app with slightest idea of misleading users.
