google toolbar

I've always wondered about the Google toolbar and if it really is as good as it seems to be ( a non-spyware alternative to mysearch or yahoo-toolbars, etc ).

I recently installed it and I know that Spywareblaster and Spybot S&D do not consider it spyware... It works great, blocks pop-ups, so I'm considering reccomending it to other people as a great alternative that doesn't have any spyware, but I wanted to see what other people think about this before I reccomend it.

The Google bar is not spyware, but there have been some questions about how they performed their latest update:

The program itself nevertheless is good.
