    So much better at keeping data secure than Sony, but the difference is Sony doesn't just hand it over to government agencies when asked.

    The question for google isn't how they protect it from others, but how they themselves are actually using it, and how long they are keeping the derivative knowledge they gain from it, and not just the raw data itself.
