Product Info: Google Earth
Read About It: Source
I was just looking at this last night, very very cool It was kind of creepy, though, that you could zoom in enough to see the car parked in our driveway! It has some useful features like drivinig directions, but it's also a lot of fun to just travel around the world and see neighborhoods in various countries, and 3d images of various landmarks.
Oh dang, pardon me! I thought it read "Free Lunch". I should have known that there is no such thing!!
Can't download it at present, but Google Maps is pretty amazing too.
I've D/Ld 'Google Earth'......My system has everything required to run it....but I can't get it to open??......tried it in DirectX and GL....Nothing!!...What Have I, or What am I, doing wrong please........ Or have I misunderstood something somewhere along the line........
Did you d/ld the Round version or the Flat version? To run the Flat version you have to have a couple of screws loose. No, that couldn't be the problem! Maybe if you hum a few bars of 'Running Bear' whilst peeking at the 'Bravettes' abathing in Ye Olde Swimmin Hole the secret may be revealed to you.........If that dosen't work.........I've got more good ideas
Always here to assist, big ed
Thanks ed....What a Pal you are....always there at a weeks notice with instant indefinable assistance for the mentally confused....who would I really be if it wasn't for your assistance........
I took your advice regarding the screws being loose....so I went round the old Puter with my little 'Silver 2lb. Hammer' and tightened everything...even my nuts....The Computer and I are feeling much better now....
Finally got the Google Earth (The Flat Version of course) to work, but it made me feel sick (Flying and tilting stuff) so I ex D/Ld it....feeling better already...
I only hope Detox doesn't try it...he'll be barfing for a Month....
And never you mind what me and my old Cayuse 'Paint' the Pinto get up to at the watering hole with Bravettes.....you've set me off now....I think I need to lay down for a while...........
What kind of 'wenches' did you use to tighten all that stuff. Metric or SAE?
Don't worry Cochise - I won't try it because I'm convinced it's all some sort of conspiracy. I'll tell you more in the bunker at 2200 hours. Oh yeah - bring the beer.
you better don't drink too much Detox, cause I'm affraid of that barking part
laying down seems to be in favour lately
The word is 'Wrenches' ed....'Wrenches'.........thats if you really want your nuts tightened.............Mmmmmmmmmmmm! 'Wenches'....having thought very deeply about it......you just could be right..........God your good.........
Cochise, (Every day I Learn a little something)....
Incredible program. What's your address again Cochise?
I used it a little before this trip I am on and it seems like a great program. It is almost good enough to see a couple of mosquitos procreating in an old cup of coffee in an alley in Dallas or Hong Kong
I believe I'll do a fly over Oklahoma. Where is the pool located?
Interstate 40 and Merridan, Oklahoma City west. Best Western Saddleback Inn. I will go by the pool and wave
I'll take a look.
EEEEEK!! I am with you, Detox, I am moving underground! LOL!
I finally saw the neighbor's huge koi pond and my backyard, but they were kinda blurry, how do you adjust 'your set'??
Talk about a peeping Tom's dream machine!
When I can fix the blurriness, I am going house hunting somewheres..........
LOL ... I'm sure someone will be very happy to hear that
Would you like the address of my igloo err dog house? I may consider selling
YOU! you smarty pants!!
I am moving remember!!?! So, give me your address or do I have to ask BlackSpear?!? HMmmmmm??
Sorry, Puppies have short memories (Well that's the story 'n' I'm sticking with)
Where are you moving to? ~prying and prodding~
My address is #1 Bad Puppy Place
I really love this program. The girls keep playing with it too. It should really help with them learning Geography. Only large cities in Canada come through with detail. I have a really good friend up right now who moved to Beaumont, Texas a few years back and he was able to show me his house and the hospital he works at(since I have never been there), all from the comfort of my home. That was really cool.
You do have a short memory! I am looking for a place to move to, that's why this Google thing will help out!
Hey I can look at any place in the world!!! Such a power trip!! LOL!
BTW: Google says there is NO place called #1 Bad Puppy Place!!
BB and I just tried this out. It's pretty cool. Don't anybody worry about being spied on though. The pictures of our house are at least 2 years old. We've had some major road construction since then and it doesn't even show up.
I looked but couldn't see you.
North Thoresby, Near LOUTH, Lincolnshire......mate.....just give us some idea when you might be azoomin' in....so Wifey and me can put some clothes on........
