Interesting. I wonder how much faster its going to be. I'll have to test it out. I know that google DNS doesn't off malware blocking. I know that openDNS offers phishing lists.

Very nice. I hope DynDNS follows suit.

    I'm on Google DNS.

The differences may be tiny or big depending on where you live/ where you've been routed in the past.

I've used both in the past but my ISP DNS seems faster to me.

It's not a web speed boost, it's a "possible" YouTube boost. I don't see how this will affect anyone other than people that don't have a Google/Open DNS server close by (in their country).

This is what I have found after much testing and I don't expect it to change soon.

    This isn't only for Youtube.

The idea is that it will be closer to them. Like I said, if you've always somehow gotten the closer server to you, you won't notice anything. You might still not notice anything even if you have moved closer.

If other websites comply you mean, since it's completely optional, and still unpopular. Here's hoping.

    Like I also said.

I switched to OpenDNS a few days ago, and I must say, it does feel fast...
Hopefully TELMEX, (which is the biggest IT company here in Mexico) joins this new wave.
