hi it's weird because chrome start with google.com page , and it shows me to prove i'm not a robot and this doesn't happen everytime i start chrome, for example once at day or when shutdown my pc look the screenshot https://i.imgur.com/T3WxpOZ.png and my extensions are , i disabled Avira Antivirus - Protector of Online Surfing to check https://i.imgur.com/gYsIWfC.png https://i.imgur.com/1lug2MM.png https://i.imgur.com/7VYGLxH.png have you seen such things? chrome vesion Versione 62.0.3202.62 (ufficial build) i scan with my antivirus , malwarebyte and process explorer no virus or malware detected thanks
It happens me to just about every day, because I use the Chrome extension Page Monitor to check for updates to a lot of pages, and many of these are Google search results. Also, I think it's happened sometimes due to my VPN. But, usually when I'm not doing excessive searches, I never get that.
hi it happens when i start chrome for the fist time , home page google.com and i got ths immedtly thanks Roger
Have you tried setting another startup page in Google Chrome, something else than google.com? See: Set your homepage and startup page
I understand, and I hope someone can tell you what is wrong and how to fix it, but I was thinking that by setting the startup page in Google Chrome to something else than google.com, for now, you can use Chrome without the recurring need to go through the "Prove you are not a robot" verification. Again: for now, until someone can tell you what is wrong and how to fix it.
hi i changed page but recently installed https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/avira-antivirus-protector/fibaefnljghpmdibfkhnlaniblfkkndi about avira extension , it reports many malware detected and blocked now it's off don't know i will watch and keep it posted thanks
When it says prove you're not a robot, click all the boxes with street signs, the only box I click is the one with the little x in the top corner of my screen.
hi in the past days i have refreshed the page and it did disapear and close chrome and restart but again it's not normal at cold start with a page like google.com,isn't it? thanks
I think it might have something to do with, cookies, ad blocking or, javascript. If any of them is not behaving as the website expects, because of, perhaps, privacy settings? The site flags you as potentially a robot.
hi it's weird but after i have uninstalled this extension avira antivirus -protector of online surfing , i haven't had any prove to be not a robot have you tested this extension? thanks
