Now uninstalling uBlock Origin Extra and trying uBlock Protector.
Can anyone recommend a decent extension to protect against phishing sites? Thanks.
Thanks mood! Just uninstalled uBlock Origin Extra.
@Trooper - you can edit your postings.
add manually the PSH (psh.txt) from https://hosts-file.net/?s=Download
Anti-Adblock Killer Continued
no good list. eg nimbus from everhelper/fvd is loading ads in some of its extensions (fvd speeddial), or bothers with nags or is spying (read the comments). it see only <3 of usefull extension the rest is pointless.
FYI - The extension uBlock Protector has a new name: Nano Defender
Has anyone tried Dark Reader extension?
It seems to be actively developed but not sure about reliability and privacy.
You can use Netcraft extension
Avira Browser Safety
Malwarebytes for Chrome (Beta)
i tried , was fun at the beginning, then i removed it 5mn later after it messes with some sites designs.
Thank you, I'll give it a shot... Nothing to lose.
extension, not program
ublock is superior, insert lists from here if you miss something:
(ATS already present in uB)
URL Tracking Stripper & Redirect Skipper
With the exception of Kaspersky Free, Edge, Google Safe Browsing (not a program) and Squidblacklist (filter list), all the other are browser extensions
Avira browser safety
Norton Safe Web
Windows Defender Browser Protection
Malwarebytes Browser Extension
K9 Web Protection
I've been very busy offline, so I was wondering how this compares to UBO?
In the end I decided not to install uBlock Protector. I kept the other.
