What a joke! For years I have been wondering why browsers didn't add protection against infostealers, and now almost 10 years later those Google geniuses come up with this idea. Well, better late than never, right? https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ne...ound-encryption-to-block-infostealer-malware/
Are you really asking this having Sandboxie a history of breaking things once in a while? Access to webcams or microphones. Not only in Chrome but any other browser.
I honestly didn't know that Sandboxie could break browser functions. I stopped using Sandboxie as a browser protection tools years ago, when it corrupted Firefox. But in all the years that I used it from 2004 till 2020 (with Maxthon, Opera, Firefox, Vivaldi) it never broke anything for me. If you're worried about this, you might as well switch to OSArmor, which will block exploits easily. And browsers already have a built-in sandbox, the only cool thing is that Sandboxie adds virtualization on top.
