Quite likely that the issue wasn't with the browser but with something else.

    Agreed.

Sorry, the only way you can get a score that high with IE9 on a quad is if you used the 64bit version, which isn't a fair comparison to the other 32bit browsers, as the 64bit IE9 is FAR slower. This reporter needs to sort out his tests. :thumbd:

    Hi :)

After reading this thread... Wasn't sure what version of Chrome I had o_O
I've only been using Chrome a couple of days. And didn't know what to expect ( What I'd See ) if it wanted to update.

    Clicked... About Chrome
And... Chrome sudenly said it was installing a new Version: 10
    Clicked... OK
And the About Chrome window closed.
Not sure what to do or if the update had finished :doubt:
    Again! - Clicked... About Chrome
This time it had a Reboot Chrome button.
    So! - Clicked... Reboot
    Chrome Rebooted!
But my Firewall went Bonkers
Asking me over and over agian if I wanted to allow or deny Chrome.
In the 4 years of me having PC Tools Firewall Plus... Never Seen So Many Pop Ups!

Did anyone else's Firewall go Bonkers like mine did?

    Thanks!

    Zeena

Nope. Not a single pop-up from Comodo.

Put it as web browser or trusted on your firewall.

Yeah, only now I realized... I had no idea it already started and was only going to last until March 11. :( I don't know why, but somehow I thought it was going to start only in a few days from now.

But, it would had been great to see IE9 there, though.

Me too, but unless they have the release copy they are providing to them to be hacked, I doubt it. Though you can be sure the build is already final. But really IE8 will get destroyed and they can use that as advertising to move people onto IE9 and forget any versions of IE ever existed before 9.

But ontopic: I wonder how much $ Google ends up shelling out? They were giving bonuses I believe. In my opinion, this is a very good approach.

I'm having a lot of problems with the flash plugin for this release. It's been crashing a lot and videos not playing on some sites.

Haven't done much troubleshooting yet, though...

Your post isn't really relevant to Chrome 10 stable, is it?
