The combination of comodo firewall - antivir free would be very good.

I'd also consider the combination of AntiVir Free - OA free - Sandboxie free.

For ease of use for non-technical users, what does everybody think about Avira free plus ThreatFire plus OpenDNS and WOT?

if u want an easy to use firewall, go with the PCT FW combo, but otherwise id go with ur first choice cuz of Outpost's amazing logging.
