I have two computers with Vista Home Premium on them and am considering changing over to the 64 bit version. The question is, will I need new NOD32 licenses for these two machines, or can I take them over to the 64 bit side?

No new license is needed for 64 bit Vista so if you have a license for two computers it doesn't matter if those two computers run the 32 bit or 64 bit version of Vista.

no problem, 64-bit is supported by NOD32 just download the 64-bit installer
    http://download.eset.com/download/win/eav/eav_nt64_enu.msi

it does not matter if its 64-bit or not the license is for 2 pcs regard less of Windows operating system version with the exception of server versions (works with business 5+ licenses)

i havnt had any problems with NOD32 on Vista x64 and XP x64
and you get the nice effect with more memory and a little bit more secure, as in operating systems files are 64-bit ;P

I’ve also not had any problems in XP x64 and Vista x64.
