Gmail Tips

    I don't use Gmail, but based on this, you may want to turn off javascript (unless it severely cripples Gmail). It appears that a spammer can send you an email that automatically loads the media file of their choice.

    thanks, i don't use Java, but use Javascript with just about eveything disabled in the browser's choices. i also use Kye-u's and JD's filters together, will that help? thanks

    If you use firefox, theres an addon/extention you can use that will turn off Javascript. It has a little yellow bar at the bottom that alerts you that its blocked java. You can allow certain sites for a while, or completely allow them, its up to you.

    i'm going to read them abit more. i think i'm going to use Gmail as my main email service from now onward. i don't think it will become payware o_O not now it's been released.
