Why not. Some, perhaps very few of us left, thrive on these programs stretching all the way back to Windows 98.

Is Glary Utilities Pro 6.13 a good and safe program? I have been alternating Kerish PC Doctor and WiseCare 365 Pro; and, have been thinking of replacing one or both of them with PrivaZer. Perhaps I should replace all with Glary? Unless I misunderstand, Forum rules allow us to ask these questions now. If not, I apologize and ask a Forum Moderator to remove my post.

    I don't recommend PrivaZer.

"glary" is just another word for "destroy" -> "destroy utilities". same "effective" as wisecare, ccleaner and similar. and ofc it has reason that such programs, in special wise and glary are given away more times than other tools. think about. or would you spend money for a tool which is destructive on your OS?

I have used Glary Utilities Disk Cleanup for many years. On its default settings it is safe and very effective. I mostly just use the Disk Cleanup module of Glary Utilities, so I cannot speak for the rest of the modules in the app.

I used PrivaZer. a long long time ago for a few years. I don't remember why.

I fell back to a real good golden oldie that does One Better. After PrivaZer wipes it leaves 000000000 which is Okay of course but i found Time Stamps are still displayed in the $MFT. Using the OLD Briggs Softworks Directory Snoop and selecting Status-Delete- it displays leftovers even wiped. Yes the data is zeroed apparently, however Dir Snoop on Select All-Purge COMPLETELY empties the $MFT deleted files AND no time stamps are left either.

But this is OT a bit and better suited for another different Topic :)
