Do you mean Ccleaner? My understanding is the uninstaller section in Ccleaner is just a front-end for starting the application's normal uninstall routine.

I wanted to know too, using the free portable version. Although the uninstall list under Tools tab is more comprehensive, the same uninstaller shows up when you delete a third party app. The same folders were left there for you to manually delete. The only advantage I could see is the uninstall list which is more thorough, enabling you to uninstall things you might not have thought were on your system. This is in comparison to using Windows uninstall mode.

CCleaner allows you to uninstall Windows 'Apps' but my REVO Pro doesn't.

Yes I still call it it's original name. What do you think the C in front of Cleaner means? See Wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CCleaner

Guessing they thought it was not a professional enough name:D

Interesting; I hadn't noticed before that Windows 10 "apps" show in the Ccleaner list. I haven't tried uninstalling one though, so can't say for sure that it works.

Yes, it's not worth using even when given away.

There's an issue with the new installer GOATD is using. I even downloaded and installed Smart Uninstaller, from its website, but it ran as a time limited trial.
I've used in the past. I have not tested it for a while, but in the past, it performed poorly at finding leftovers compared to Revo or IObit.

This was actually released a few years before Revo.

Is it really a give-away! Nothing is give away, have to laugh at these people (that's saying it lightly).

You can get it to install by by extracting Setup.exe and Setup.gcd somewhere and then right click on Setup.exe then go to Properties/Compatibility and set it run in compatibility mode for Windows 7. I did that and Smarty Uninstaller was installed and activated when I ran Setup.exe again.
