Getting rid of msn messenger

    I uninstalled msn,but use it for home page,and hotmail.Whenever I access my mail,messenger is installed in my startup menu.Can i stop this? Thanks.

    I don't have MSN messenger but on the version that comes with XP Home, I just renamed the Messenger folder in program files "Messengerdisabled". It's still there if I decide I need it.
