    Hello,

    I have 2 questions:

    1. I am developing a product that needs to know if Eset Anti virus is up to date or not - how can I get that information (the UI isn't helpful for me because I need to get the info programmably)?
    2. I would like my product to be notified about event concerning the Eset Anti virus (such as a found virus) - How can I get it done?

    Thanks.

    Unfortunately, this is not possible.

For your first question you could find out the installed virus database version, and you could query the ESET website page which lists the current defintion version and comapre the two?

Lavalys Everest manages to get the installed signature version so there must be a way to get that programatically.

    Hello,

If you are interested in creating a product which interfaces with ESET's software you may wish to contact ESET's Business Development department.
