GeSWall question, weird behavior

hi


i wanted to try GeSWall free firewall

i found it weird, i read the manual carefully but i did not find an answer

well
installed-> and reboot the pc

run firefox , and GeSWall pops up with a windows allow yes and no, i set yes

i run thunderbird and GeSWall did not pops up a windows

i run opera and again GeSWall pop uo another windows

after i run many programs that need internet , but geswall never pops up a window to let me to block such programs

why?

First,you didnt read the manual,as it's not a firewall.

Second,it protects your browser activities, and Windows Media Player. If you want it to protect your email clients,you'll need to upgrade to Geswall Pro.

No, it sandboxs your browsing isolating all your surfing in internet from your pc. Very good adding protection, for a multilayer defense.
