    I don't see that they verified that the actual defense minister's thunb would decrypt. Without that, this is a meaningless exercise.

    Yes I didn't find that info also. For that they would need her real fingerprint (or data encrypted by her thumb) which she probably wouldn't want to give. :)

    I'm sure that they could have negotiated a safe way to test.
