German av-test.org: NOD32 place 13

Hello,

the well known av-test.org has made a test with 29 anti virus products. NOD32 has place 13.

They tested for about a week 874.822 different viruses on 28 computers with a fixed AV database of August, 10th. They also compared the size of an AV database to the ranking and are saying, that there is almost no correlation.

For those who can't speak german, the table results are well understandable. The last column shows the size of the AV database.

Also look at these Feb 2007 and May 2007 tests where NOD 32 is in overall 7th position in on demand scan while in retrospective test is the only AV with 3 star category.

Meh, things like this no longer bother me that much. Kudos to MS though. The test is being discussed here also:
