The initial betas of KIS 2006 went badly for me, but I recently have tried out RC2, builds 297g & h. The latest build runs like butter on my systems.. Just wanting forum users' opinions of the Anti-Hacker module specifically. I've seen the firewall leaktest results linked to in another thread. Is Anti-Hacker a worthy SW firewall in your opinion?

The problem is that these posts are prior to the KIS 2006 version of anti-hacker, so they do not give a fair representation of it.

From what I have read, Kaspersky has done an excellent job in the firewall with the proactive defense implemented in the suite. it should protect you very well. Tweaking the rules such as limiting ports that can be used, limiting dns traffic to only your dns servers, etc. can help you boost your security as well.

    Cheers,
