    I very much doubt whether you will be able to download signatures unless you have a paid up subscription

    Right, no way to download any updates with the trial, and unfortunately I know it does prevent people to even try it sometimes :doubt: - last time I tried it, database was dated 11.14.05.

    You have to be registered on their server to get updates, what is done when you install the full version.

    But once you have a full version, updates are very quick to download (although files are sometimes big :eek: ), and you get hourly updates for both engines ;) .
