I have Drive Backup v10 Pro that I got from the give away here. Prior to that I was using the Backup Free that they offer.

Its very easy to use, fast, and very stable from what Ive seen in the last year. Id grab it just to have it.

So if one has the Returnil System Safe 2011 Pro giveaway from yesterday, this one is not necessary?

They arent the same type of software. Returnil virtualizes. Paragon creates a backup image.

I currently use Paragon Backup & Recovery Pro 9.5, which does not come with the Windows PE ISO for creating a Windows based bootable recovery DVD (it comes with a Linux based ISO instead). Windows PE is apparently necessary to use the Adaptive Restore feature, which makes it possible to restore an image to a computer with different hardware. Can anyone confirm this version includes the Windows PE ISO?

No, you don't get the winpe media with free, or giveaway versions.

Howewver, both the p2p adjust and boot correct wizards are included in this app. So you can use those from within windows.

The Linux recovery cd you can run off also allows you to adjust an o/s to new hardware, and has a boot corrector function.

    It's a great giveaway.

Thanks for the clarification. I just checked my copy of Backup & Recovery Pro 9.5 and it has the P2P OS Adjust Wizard. Would there be any additional benefit to installing this GAOTD version?

    I haven't compared the two.

There is a very useful bootcorrector included in this one - I don't know if that is in the 9.5 version you have already.

Can you say in a nutshell what the boot corrector is/does? Apparently 9.5 Pro doesn't have it.
