    i have a for of the gaobot virus nav detects but can't fix, ran ad aware, and hijack this here is my log:

    Hi crazy1096,

    Can you tell us where NAV finds Gaobot and what the filename is?

    And are you aware that your version of XP and IE are outdated? You definitely need an update.

    updated windows, nav gives me this location:
    windows/system32/winhlp32.exe

    i went into safe mode and deleted this file, but my comp is still acting up so i just wanted to know if the log was off also

    Hi crazy1096,

    I listed some things you might consider unchecking in msconfig.
    It might make a difference.
    In the filename you said you deleted is one "l" missing.
    Hoping that's a typo.
