Just keep in mind to update to the latest program build available straight after v.2014 is installed.
There were some issues now fixed in the latest build.

 

Good Evening! Mac...thanks for creating the latest update version Storm...I have Version 24.0.1.1...and it states I have the latest version...which is dated March 2013. Does this correspond too your update? Sincerely...Securon

 

I tried to run 2014 Gdata Av about a month ago w/ very little luck..Major slow down on my system...The program seemed buggy right from the start after downloading and trying to run the program...I have ran Gdata in past yrs w/ no problems to speak of but this version of Gdata 2014 was a No-Go..

 

Seems to be everywhere lately.

 

Hi Securon, the latest build is 24.0.2.3, at least for the Antivirus package but I'm positive that the number is also valid for all other GData products.
Update progression was as follows: 24.0.1.1 (released on March 14) => 24.0.1.5 (April 26) => 24.0.2.3 (May 28 )
Are you running full or trial mode? haven't you offered to update the program through the main gui yet? Try to manually update the program again.

 

You are not alone, many users are having/had issues (me included but not anymore ) after this v2014 was officially released 3 months ago.
You could give it another try with the latest build. It seems so far that certain pc configurations doesn't like the new GData 2014

 

My latest build is 24.0.1.1 so why am I not receiving a build update even after running the update?

Also I have not been happy that Bank Guard is not visible when banking online.

Overall though my laptop runs very well with 2014 internet security.

 

No slowdowns here.Tested it for 7 days.A little bit heavier than BullGuard IS 2013 on my PC but all in all great product.

ehh not crazy about the gui though better than before and for me its still a system hog, it for sure has been getting better each year but still shows a drag on the systems imo. im not a fan of bullgaurd either but i find it a bit lighter than gdata 2014.

 

That's indeed strange, I'm not sure but it could be that the localized U.S. servers ain't delivering the updates yet. I got the first installer package from the U.K. site.

You are lucky about not having issues with the build 24.0.1.1 like I did. And yes, an invisible BankGuard is not exactly what everyone likes to have

Yep it uses Bitdefender and its own.

At least BD2013 used this version.
I'm not having access to a 2014 installation.
Maybe a BD user can answer your question.
