Good Morning ! Just installed G-Data I.S.2013...I'm really surprised at how light and nimble the new version is. The only con is when installing I had to un-install WSA Essentials...other then this...so far no bloat or lagging while surfing. Sincerely...Securon

Good Evening ! Amin...the Gui hasn't changed from the 2012 version. So far as mentioned it seems to be running lighter...G-Data might be incorporating more Cloud components...don't quote me on this...just a perception on my part. Go to the Web-Site and take it for a test scan. Sincerely...Securon

Tried its av 2013 the last month.

I liked a lot and would keep it even over Avira if it was not so heavy on my system :(

    thanks.. Securon.

i'd tested the G-data 2012 before & had no issues with the performance.

a robust database ! but since there is no any other defense modules it actually bothered me. though av-c dynamic test results for g-data was perfect.
but it would be nice to me if it had a HIPS feature. but i think having comodo fw besides G-data should be ok with a few tweaks

    regards.

    Amin

    Hi a m i n,

In addition to it's signature based DoubleScan technology G Data contains a behaviour blocker, a proactive module to protect against Banking Trojans like ZeuS or spyeye, cloudbased Webprotection and Commtouch's OutBreakShield.

    Kind regards,
    Ford

Under Policy it says per computer.
So, I guess it is for a single PC.

G-Data should never have HIPS, the second it does it becomes ruined to me from its simplicity and effectiveness.
