FYI: How to Format USB to exFAT in Linux

    just a word of caution:

    a few weeks ago i tried quite a few distros.
    playing along the way to and from converting some drives to NTFS and ext4.

    at one point, none of my secondary drives were recognizable, save for when i ran a previous version of Mint i had on a optical disk.
    i lost quite a bit of data but luckily i was able to save my music collection.

    so while playing apprentice wizard, it would maybe good advice to keep your precious data backed to at least 2 secondary drives.
    one that won't be connected until one is finished experimenting...
