With all the new sorts of 'cookies' these days, like flash-cookies, html5 storage, silverlight cookies, different methods of saving in browser cache and other sophisticated methods of the 'Evercookie', will SafeOnline expand it's cookie protection also to cookies like these?

Currently we aren't planning on doing so just because protected websites wouldn't be using these types of techniques for their cookies. The main goal of the cookies protection is to prevent other programs from viewing confidential information in cookies.

However, it's certainly possible that some websites will move into using flash cookies/etc. to store confidential information, although because they aren't supported across all browsers yet, I'd tend to think it won't be too soon. When they do, rest assured that we'll be on top of protecting them :)
