ftp server blocking

have been using eset smart security for close to a month now, haven't had a single problem, and feel safe. the system is very fast with this av/firewall. my question is today, i was trying to install drivers for my hp printer, so to donwload from hp,i was trying to connect to the their ftp, its where their files are, my browsers did not let me connect to those ftp servers, or even my flashfxp could not connect to any ftp server, im guessing the firewall is doing htis, where do i go to remove this, and let it connect to ftp://. thanks

 

I had same issue with Any HP Software Update via "ftp://ftp.hp.com" address BUT Just Now Successfully DnLoaded an Update from a normal HP Download Link. I'm 3.0.621 on Automatic ESS Setting.

I believe the way I got the download to occur prior was to Copy the failed URL string with an ftp beginning and change it to "http://".. and the Software Update DID download (after I pasted it back into address bar with "http://" as start of String)--

Since HP DnLoad Did Not...Now Does work with ESS installed I can't offer a fix other than changing the address to http and then test it later with regular Dnload link.
