Our server which is protected by Smart Security Business Edition 3.0.684.0 has been occasionally attack by FTP login attempts. Sometimes these can be up to 20 login attempts per second and go on for hours if we do not notice it. Is there any way that we can auto detect the attempts and block them? We cannot manually block the IP as it seems to vary each time. The server OS is Windows 2003. A typical event log entry is attached. Any ideas please?
