freezes when creating file

    the program freezes when ever it starts to form the file in my iomega hd. is the problem with the hard drive or the software.

    i had a similar problem but it turned out the be the way the drive was partitioned mainly because i was using a mixture of windows and linux. It maybe the acronis software is not compatible with the way the drive has been partitioned.

    Acronis in windows works fine, no problems at all. Its when it comes to other OS's which are not as mainstream as windows

    The same thing used to happen to me. When I burned a boot CD with the latest True Image installed (either build 774 or 786) no more freezes.
