Just wondering if anyone is tried this rather "different" screen capture utility courtesy Henry++ (henrypp) developer of SimpleWall front end for WFC which a lot of some folks are devoted user's of. His memreduct has also been a useful asset on 8.1 and now on Windows 10 when memory spikes elevate to not so appealing levels.

This little screenshot program literally can blanket the desktop and allow one to select regions of interest and with a click of the mouse button snap a capture/drop the image immediately with no effort or fuss. Hotkeys come in handy as well and work to perfection.

My Desktop (Right Click) Context Menu as a small example here.

Just had a little go with it in Shadow Defender.
It does things with very little fuss I agree. I selected to show cursor but couldn't see a quick way to take a selected area screenshot with the cursor in place. A small 'take screenie in 3 seconds or so'' would give you time to put the cursor in place before the screenie is taken.
    Perhaps I missed it :)

The user preference of setting the Hotkeys Combo was the ONLY way I could snap a screen of my mouse Right Click Context Menu on 8.1 since it won't sit still on-screen to manually select a region. But this little jewel is a snap to grab screens sections either way. I mostly find the manual hand selection drawing of your choice well thought out, stop when satisfied, then press the mouse button and Presto! instant pic. It can be very useful mostly for those static sections and it's a cinch to add to snippets of the pictorial progress your looking to collect for references. (and can refer back to when needed)
