Freeing space does not work.

I have a 160 gig drive in a C and D partition. The C is bigger than I need and I'd like to move 10 gig over to D.

I follow all the steps in the Create Free Space wizard. The machine reboots, on a blue screen it looks as if work is being done & then there is a restart, all looks fine, but the disks are the same as before.

Any ideas? I wonder how dangerous this is to do too? Any thoughts on that? Yes I have backups, right up to date.

Could you please clarify, what build and what version of what Acronis product are you using? You can find the full version name and build number by going to Help -> About... menu in the main program window. What operating system are you using?

Win XP Tablet PC edition, with sp2 and all the updates. On a Toshiba M200.
