    Just thought you might be interested in how well protected our basic rights are in OZ at the moment.

    Interestingly enough, (without getting on the soap-box) I recently had a vigorous discussion/argument with a High Court judge here about our need for a bill of rights. Particularly as we MAY be heading towards a republic some time this millenia

    I was assured that we did not need one as "the courts will look after you". !!!
    Condescending bullshit.

    Please read attached to see how our courts protect us.
